Chaewon Lim, born in Seoul, Korea, studied piano performance at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with professor Evelyne Brancart. She was the recipient of Music Faculty Award & JSOM Merit Scholarship. 2020 Performed at NY Carnegie Hall as the 1st prize winner 2020 1st Prize winner of Crescendo International Music Competition 2019 2nd prize winner of Indianapolis Matinee Musicale 2019 Invitation from III Jumeriah Sounds International Festival in Dubai 2020 Finalist of Kuleshov International Competition and Festival [Final round cancelled due to COVID-19] 2017 Recipient of SungJung Cultural Foundation Scholarship Chaewon Lim has done lots of solo concerts and recitals at JSOM Ford hall, Recital hall, Auer hall, Carnegie hall, Sejong Arts Center, Yamaha hall, etc. She also developed her skill through masterclasses with Ronan O'Hora, Karen Shaw, Hugh Sung, Paulina Zamora, etc. She loves kids and her passion is to help children love the piano and music more and more.
