Abhik Mazumder is an award-winning pianist of 20 years, as well as an accomplished composer, arranger, improviser and violinist. He has performed several times in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, been a soloist with five different orchestras, and released multiple albums of original and arranged music. He graduated in 2024 from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University with a double degree in classical piano performance and jazz studies, having studied with acclaimed pianists Norman Krieger and Luke Gillespie. Abhik has experience teaching a variety of ages, including young children, beginners, teenagers and adults. His educational approach is rooted in cultivating fun, encouraging collaboration, building intellectual skills, and fostering a general love and appreciation for music in his students.
