A compelling Soloist, hailed as “Immensely talented, truly identifying with the emotions of composers with natural physical affinity with the instrument” She grew up in a household hearing Belcanto arias, and debuted at the precocious age of 10 years old performing the first movement of Beethoven Piano Concerto 3. Since then, she's won national completions in Korea as well as in US. She has been rigorously trained in Classical tradition in Europe & New York with a focus on the turn of the century pianism while also directing & coaching all black Gospel Youth Choir. She has performed at the Symphony Space, Becstein Piano Center, Yamaha Music Salon and Scandinavia House. Educated at the Yewon Art School, esteemed Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and Manhattan School of Music, NYC—diploma- Bachelor of Art and Masters of Music in Piano Performance, her teachers include Christoph Lieske, Martin Canin, Solomon Mikowsky. She has also studied privately with Kumi Ogano and in masterclass with several of the world's most respected Pianists—namely—John O’Connor, Abby Simon, James Tocco and coached by Toby Appel on Chamber Music. Heather also is an avid lover of Organ and Renaissance modal religious Motets and currently is studying Pipe organ while serving as an organist and music director at the Lutheran Church.
