About teacher

Latino American violinist Dominique Valenzuela has enjoyed many performances across the world�s top stages. From Shanghai�s Jaguar Symphony Hall to Philadelphia�s Kimmel Center, he has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra member. Dominique started playing violin in public school in West Texas before he began conservatory training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. A member of The Tianjin Juilliard School inaugural graduate class, Dominique is also a recipient of the Jerome L. Greene fellowship at The Juilliard School in New York City. Dominique�s major teachers include Kevin Lawrence, Joel Smirnoff of the Juilliard Quartet, Shanghai Quartet violinists Weigang Li and Angelo Xiang Yu, and first violinist of the Ysa�e Quartet, Guillaume Sutre.
