About teacher

New York based Violist Adam Kramer regularly concertizes in and around the city as an orchestral, chamber, and solo musician. Performances include appearances at the Morgan Library, the Frick Collection, the Neue Galerie, select concerts of the Mannes Sounds festival, Carnegie hall, and Lincoln Center. Recent collaborations include performances with distinguished artists Benjamin Hochman, Vladimir Feltsman, Kaija Saariaho, and JoAnn Falletta. Mr. Kramer Holds a BM and MM from the Mannes College of Music at The New School where he studied with Ira Weller, Daniel Panner, Adria Benjamin, and chamber music with the Orion Quartet. Internationally he has performed extensively in and around Canada and Europe, most recently as an artist at the Music and More festival in Bosnia and Croatia. In addition to performing, Mr. Kramer is a passionate and tireless music educator. His experience in the field ranges from orchestral and chamber coaching at Mannes Prep to private lessons for underserved communities in the Bronx.
