About teacher

Amos Lee is the founder and artistic director of The Revelation Ensemble. He graduated from New England Conservatory Pre-College, studying with Jin-Kyung Joen. Mr. Lee toured Europe with the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, performing at various venues including the famed Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, as well as many others. In addition, Mr. Lee has performed as a soloist, orchestral musician and chamber musician at Jordan Hall, Symphony Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, Sanders Theatre, and churches in Boston and New York City. In 2017, Mr. Lee premiered Zachary Gulaboff Davis’ Violin Concerto No. 2 with the Apotheosis Opera Orchestra in Carnegie Hall, conducted by Matthew Jaroszewicz. Mr. Lee won the Young Promise Competition with the award for “Best Romantic Work”. Mr. Lee has worked with the conductor Benjamin Zander, Borromeo Quartet, Nicholas Kitchen, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Joseph Silverstein, Lynn Chang, Walter Schwede, Julia Bushkova, Irina Muresanu, Hugh Wolff, David Loebel, Victor Rosenbaum, Edna Michell, Nicholas Mann, Pinchas Zukerman, Sally Thomas, American String Quartet, Orion String Quartet, David Hayes and many more. Most recently, he was on tour with the Mount Vernon Virtuousi, led by Amit Peled. Mr. Lee graduated from Mannes School of Music where he studied with Dr. Ann Setzer and Manhattan School of Music for his graduate studies under the tutelage of Todd Phillips. He has been the concertmaster for the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes, Bergen Symphony and the Apotheosis Opera Orchestras.
