About teacher

New York based pianist, Anais Ahn, has extensive experience as a soloist, collaborative pianist , and educator. Ms. Ahn’s accomplishments include Walter A. and Dorothy J. Oestreich concerto competition by concord chamber orchestra and Bonnie and Lee young artist competition by Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra. She studied at the University of Wisconsin as a Scholarship Fellow studying under Elena Abend, Judit Jaimes and graduated with her Bachelors degree. During her time at the University of Wisconsin, Anais worked as a piano tutor for the group classes of Dr. Peggy Otwell, and also worked as a pianist for the violin studio of Dr. Bernard Zinck. She is currently completing her Masters degree at the Manhattan School of Music, studying under Inesa Sinkevych. Not only an accomplishment as an soloist, but as a collaborative pianist, Ms. Ahn is an alumni of the Collaborative Piano Institute. While she was in Wisconsin, she played as a pianist for students from Music Institute of Chicago, Milwaukee youth Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Conservatory, Wisconsin String Academy and University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Her extensive teaching experience includes instruction at the University of Wisconsin, and 6 years of private teaching including online. Based in Milwaukee, Ms. Ahn was a staff pianist with the String Academy of Wisconsin, Dance Studio of Ballet Class in University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
