About teacher

Born in Seoul, Korea, Daniella Kim graduated from Seoul Arts High School in 2005. After she moved to the U.S, she continued her studies, and she has performed in various chamber ensembles, choirs, and solo performances in New York and New Jersey. She holds her master’s degree from Columbia University in music education with professional certificate in New York. She also hold New Jersey music teacher certification K-12. She was awarded Music Teachers National Association Award in 2013. She started working in Elizabeth public school as a music director, and directed school 21 dedication ceremony, spring concert, winter concert, and Cinderella concert. She was also a music director at Fenny M. Hillers School in Hackensack public schools, and she directed Hillers school winter concert. As a music educator, she believes that music inspires children in many ways. Her goal is to help children to connect with music so that they can express themselves and find their identities through music.
